For the past year our country has been besieged from the left. All three branches of the government have violated their sworn oaths to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States. We the People have been hammered by bailouts, a failed stimulus plan that stimulated nothing but government growth. Legislation such as cap-and-trade and an unreadable healthcare reform bill were introduced, the price tag for which will bankrupt our country. Georgia Tea Party™ was an integral part of the movement that stopped cap-and-trade in its tracks, and so far has pushed the targeted signing date for healthcare reform from the summer of 2009 to sometime later in 2010. It’s not over yet and the Georgia Tea Party™ is deep in the battle. Come join the fight.
Things are heating up as we approach the mid-term primary election season. Georgia Tea Party™ is heating up as well with a strategy to meet these challenges head on. We urge everyone on the Tea Party mailing list to attend this Wednesday’s meeting to hear about the strategy first hand, ask questions and see how you can get involved, and have a positive effect on the outcome of this year’s pivotal elections. This is our chance to defend our Constitution and America, the last bastion of liberty and the world’s only hope. Congress won’t do it . . . we must.
